Hello and welcome to Arthur!
Before you can start exploring our virtual offices, we want to give you a step-by-step guide that will provide you with all the relevant knowledge you need to join your first VR meeting in Arthur.
Please read through the following instructions and watch the provided videos. Once in Arthur, you can continue the learning experience in your VR onboarding room.

1. Pre-VR: Unpack & Charge VR Headset
After unpacking, charge the VR headset by plugging in the charging cable on the left side of the headset.
Once charged, turn it on by just pressing the power button on the right for two seconds. You can also use the headset while it is being charged.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
2. Pre-VR: Ensure a comfortable fit.
3. Room and Guardian set-up
Oculus Quest will guide you through a guardian setup process to create boundaries in VR. Make sure to have enough physical space available and follow the on-screen instructions.
First, adjust the floor level. Gently touch the floor with your controller and then confirm.
Second, to create your play area, point your controller at the floor, then press and hold the trigger button to draw your play area. Confirm once done.
4. Connect to WiFi Network
You should get automatically prompted with WiFi networks nearby. If not, click on the Wifi Icon in the menu bar on the bottom as marked on below picture.
Select your WiFi network, type in your password and confirm.

5. Launch Arthur and Log In
For the next step, find and launch the Arthur App as described in the video. Make sure to join the right Arthur Edition (Choose Professional if you use Arthur at work).
Then, use one of the following methods to login to on your headset
- log in with your credentials (received via an Arthur welcome Email or communicated by support)
- log in with SSO (If SSO is enabled for your organization you only require your Email address to login. For this method, first login to your Arthur portal account on your desktop and enter the 6 digit code visible, while logging in with this option on your headset)
- Use the Magic link option
Join the room called 'Arthur Onboarding Room' and follow the next steps in VR.
