1. How to import presentations
The upload of your presentation to Arthur happens in two steps:
1) You need to first upload your presentation to your files section in the Arthur Portal from your computer.
2) You can then access your presentation in VR.
2. How can I draw on a presentation?
1. In order to be able to draw on a presentation, as a first step you need to enable drawing on it. For this, open the context menu by long-pressing the Menu-button while aiming at the presentation.
Then click on → Enable Drawing.
Afterwards, you can draw on the presentation the same way as drawing on a whiteboard works.
2. Bring the controller close to the presentation until your controller transforms into a pen. You are in drawing mode now.
Note: You have to be really close to the presentation in order to be able to draw on it. You are close enough to the presentation if your controller has transformed into a pen.
3. Hold the Trigger Button pressed and move the pen across the presentation to draw on it.
3. How can I leave an annotation on a presentation?
To leave an annotation on a presentation, open the context menu by long-pressing the menu-button while aiming at the presentation.
Then, click at the top of the context menu on → Add annotation.
This will open a window on the presentation that gives you the choice of writing a text comment or leaving an audio comment on the presentation.
When you are finished, click on→ Done
You can hide the annotation by clicking on the “X” on the top right of the window. And open the annotation again by clicking on the pink circle.
Further notes:
- Your colleagues can comment below your annotations to have a threaded conversation.
- The annotations will also be exported, when you export your presentation.
- The annotation will remain on your presentation, even after you have left the meeting, and it is still available on return. Read more on room persistency here: Will the content in my meeting rooms be saved automatically?
4. How can I hide the file title name on top of my PDF or PPTX?
You can open the context menu of your PPT or PPTX and click on the "Hide info" button
5. How can I export my presentation?
You can export your presentation in two different ways - you can send it to yourself via Email or you can export it to your Arthur Drive.
For both, you will need the context menu. Open the context menu by long-pressing the Menu-button while aiming at the presentation.
Export to Email: Click on Export → Email File
Export To Arthur Drive: Click on Export → Arthur Drive
To access your Arthur Drive, go to the Arthur Portal on your computer for Professional or Consumer version, and log in with your email address and your password.
