Note: This only needs to be done if you have received a completely new Meta Quest VR headset that has not previously been set-up by Arthur.
1. Unpack & Charge
After unpacking, charge the headset by plugging in the charging cable on the left side of the headset. Once charged, turn it on by just pressing the power button on the right for two seconds. You can also use the headset while it is being charged.
2. Download the Meta Quest Mobile App
3. Create a Meta account
Open the app and either log in with an existing Meta account or create one to proceed.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions from the Oculus App to complete the below set-up:
- Put batteries in both controllers
- Pair the headset with controllers
- Connect to WiFi
- Put on the headset, adjust Head Straps, and your view
- Set up room & guardian
- Wait for the headset update to be completed (may take 10 mins depending on internet connection)
