To make text input easier in Arthur, we have developed the 'speech to text' functionality. You now do not have to use your controllers anymore to type on your virtual keyboard but you can easily dictate your content.
1. Where can I use speech to text?
In Arthur, the 'speech to text' functionality can be used when adding text labels, annotations, and while taking notes for yourself.
2. How do I use speech to text?
Text Labels:
Open the main menu, by clicking on the menu button on your controller. Click on "Text Label" with the Trigger button. Press the "speech to text" button at the bottom of the keyboard. Start speaking.

Notes:
When in a meeting room in Arthur, click on the yellow notes icon floating on the bottom of your view.
Press the "Speech to text" button at the bottom of the keyboard. Start speaking!
Annotations:
Open the context menu by long-pressing the Menu-button while aiming at the presentation
Then, click on → Add annotation.
Press the "Speech to text" button at the bottom of the keyboard. Start speaking!
3. Useful information
- In order to not disturb your colleagues in the meeting, dictating happens in a separate audio channel, so that no one else will hear you.
- Supported languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish.
