1. What is the Arthur 2D Desktop Viewer?
With the Arthur 2D Desktop Viewer, it is possible to join a VR meeting from your computer. It is available on a Windows computer or laptop. We are currently developing a version for Mac.
Which functionalities does the Arthur 2D Desktop Viewer offer?
- Join VR meetings and participate in conversations with your colleagues
- Move around in the VR meeting room to explore the room or follow your colleagues using the keyboard (W-A-S-D-R-F) and your mouse/touchpad
- Upload your own files to the meeting room via "drag and drop"
- Click through presentations and leave comments on them
- Change in between meeting rooms
- Create text labels
- Add and edit timers
- Add whiteboards (also possible to duplicate, export, add annotation, delete)
- Use the Arthur Browser
- Modify objects: change colors, add annotation, duplicate, delete
Where is the 2D experience limited compared to joining in VR?
- The most important point: The immersive experience is missing.
- It is not possible to write on whiteboards.
- You cannot grab and move objects in the meeting rooms.
2. How do I set-up the Arthur 2D Desktop Viewer?
In order to be able to join a VR meeting from your computer, you need to download and install the Arthur 2D Desktop Viewer.
